The Domains of Genesis
The world of Genesis is divided into distinct regions known as domains. Each area has its own setting, lore, local factions, and challenges.
Sparkle
The central hub of Genesis. Strategically situated at the geographical center of the realms, Sparkle is a bustling harbor town where players of all factions cross paths. Its relatively safe streets serve as a starting point for young adventurers, offering basic training, essential shops, and access to nearby introductory quests.
Cirath
A harsh desert territory dominated by the oppressive city-state of Tyr. Under the rule of the sorcerer-king Kalak, the domain is a place of rebellion, brutal gladiator combat, and law enforcement by templars. Beyond the city gates lie shifting sand dunes, outlaw camps, and trade routes leading into the wastes.
Kalad
A vast territory of contrasting landscapes, stretching from arid salt flats and sand dunes to fertile plains. Its crown jewel is Kabal, the largest and most populous city in the realms, which serves as a major center for commerce, politics, and criminal syndicates.
Ansalon
The war-torn southern continent of Krynn. Here, the ongoing struggle between the Dragonarmies and the free peoples shapes the landscape. Players can explore the forest town of Solace, the plains of Abanasinia, or the ancient fortress of Pax Tharkas while navigating the perils of the War of the Lance.
Krynn
A continent of high fantasy and intense military conflict, centering on the grand cities of Palanthas and Neraka. It is a land defined by holy wars, draconic encounters, and faction rivalries where players can align with knights, dark clerics, or choose to survive independently.
Calia
A prosperous land governed by elemental spirits and their disciples. While Calia features lush forests, moors, and peaceful coastal towns, it is threatened by hidden dark temples, undead incursions, and preparing invasion forces. It offers diverse activities from alchemy to exploring sunken ruins.
Raumdor
A gloomy and dangerous domain dominated by the Forest of Shadows, where dark creatures and illusions await the unwary. The fortified city of Drakmere stands as a lone, defensive bastion of humanity against relentless hordes of the undead.
Faerûn
Set along the Sword Coast, this domain begins in the peaceful farmlands outside Neverwinter. Adventurers can defend the locals from swamp monsters or prepare for perilous journeys deep into the Underdark, where the drow rule and ancient horrors sleep.
Shire
A peaceful country of rolling hills, good food, and simple hobbit life. Beneath the quiet surface, however, danger gathers near the Brandywine River. The domain extends from the Shire through the Old Forest and Bree, leading east toward Rivendell and the Misty Mountains.
Gondor
The grand kingdom of men in Middle-earth. Ranging from the southern port of Pelargir to the white towers of Minas Tirith, this domain borders the ruins of Osgiliath and the ash plains of Mordor. To the north lie the grassy plains of Rohan, offering vast territory but constant danger.
Terel
A rugged northern territory known for its harsh, snow-swept wilderness and dangerous borders. Terel is home to the mysterious Mansion and its subterranean depths. It is a highly challenging domain where trolls and hostile legions hunt, rewarding only prepared adventurers.
Avenir
Located deep beneath the mountains of Terel, Avenir is centered around the subterranean city of Sybarus and the maze-like passages of the Utterdark. This domain blends magical dangers with a sophisticated underground culture, featuring a trade bazaar, law enforcement, and hidden dangers.
Earthsea
A maritime domain of islands, sandy beaches, and sailing ships. Based on the works of Ursula K. Le Guin, the area is home to the city of Gont, where local guards defend against raiding Kargish warriors. It is an ideal mid-level zone for adventurers who have outgrown Sparkle.
Emerald
A domain of stark contrasts, split between the peaceful elven city of Telberin and the untamed northern wilderness. Across a short ferry channel, elven defenders engage in a brutal, ongoing conflict against the powerful ogres of the Army of Darkness.
Khalakhor
A Celtic-themed region of green plains, hills, and ancient blade lore. The domain extends across the sea to the island of Cadu and its capital, Re Albi, where players can explore volcanic shores, deep forests, and mountain peaks containing hidden secrets.
